Multimedia journalist with expertise in writing, video, audio, and investigative reporting. I report on a range of beats including education, immigration, politics, labor, community organizing and culture. My reporting on beats such as education is informed by my own history in teaching and nonprofit work. I have a Masters in Journalism from Columbia Journalism School. I completed my bachelors degree in social policy at Duke University, graduating with distinction.
